It’s pretty obvious from the images here that I don’t shoot in a particular style. I’ve worked in so many different areas that it would be impossible to apply a ‘style’ to each of them. Instead, I bring a wealth of experience in working with people, cars, landscapes and the world in general.
My background is unconventional for a photographer. I started out as an apprentice motor mechanic when I was 15, moved on to motor racing around Europe and America and then after a number of false starts, became a photographer for Jaguar Cars, before eventually leaving to become freelance. I learned a lot about life in that time, and picked up one or two practical skills along the way, all of which have enabled me to thrive in a difficult profession for over thirty years, and still have the same passion I started out with to explore and create.
